Our candles are hand poured in small batches using 100% soy wax. Soy wax is biodegradable and cleans easily with soap and water. Soy wax also has a lower melting point than paraffin wax, which means these candles will burn slower than paraffin candles. Soy also burns cleaner than paraffin candles creating little to no soot or black smoke compared to other candles.
Our wicks are made from natural flat cotton threads interwoven with paper threads. They do not contain zinc or any other metals. We also don’t use any dyes to color the candles. This contributes to a clean burn and doesn’t put unwanted chemicals in the air.
If you care about the air quality in your home, using soy wax candles rather than petroleum based candles will definitely be a step in the right direction.
